Scott Pellerin
Manager / Funeral Director
Scott began his career in Funeral Service shortly after
graduating high school. He went to work for Ibert's Mortuary in his
hometown of Franklin in January 1990, taking first calls, tending
wakes, assisting the funeral directors, and maintenance of the
funeral homes. He began his internship six months prior to getting
married and beginning mortuary school at Delgado Community College
in New Orleans. While attending Delgado, he worked for LakeLawn
Metairie Funeral Home and Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home. Scott received
the LFDA Scholarship and graduated with 4.0 GPA Honors in May 1996,
earning an Associate Degree in Mortuary Science. After College he
began work with Melancon Funeral Homes of Carencro and continued
his internship. After completing his internship, he moved back home
to Franklin, where he has worked for Ibert's ever since. He and his
wife, Lynette, have three wonderful daughters; Taylor, who attends
Hanson Memorial High Catholic School, and Nikki and Kristen, who
both attend St. John Elementary Catholic School. They are
parishioners of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Baldwin,
where Scott is a Eucharistic Minister, Adult Altar Server, and
Usher. Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and girls, home
projects, cooking, photography, and camping.
